Role Description

As a BDE, you will play a crucial role in the early stages of the sales cycle. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential customers, reaching out to them, and qualifying leads to build a robust pipeline for our Account Executives. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect Research & Data Mining: Identify potential leads and gather contact information through various tools (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, industry databases).
  • Cold Calling & Outreach: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging to engage prospects and introduce our cloud and DevOps offerings.
  • Qualify Leads: Assess prospect needs and ensure a proper fit with our services. Qualify leads based on defined BANT criteria and pass them to senior sales reps for further nurturing.
  • Lead Handoff: Transition qualified leads to Account Executives, ensuring smooth handover with accurate prospect information.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update all lead data in the CRM system, tracking interactions and the status of each lead.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed monthly KPIs related to prospecting, lead qualification, and call volume.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (tech industry preferred).
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  •  Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with AWS cloud services, DevOps, or SaaS solutions is a plus.
  • Goal-Oriented: Self-starter with a results-driven attitude and the ability to handle rejection.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple leads and stay organized in a fastpaced environment.
  • CRM Experience: Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho is preferred.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand customer pain points and propose initial solutions.
